Meet the key members of HGS BioScience’s Sales and Product Development organization:
Dr. Stephanie Wedryk – Global Director of Technical Services and Market Development
With more than a decade of experience in the agricultural and horticultural industries, Dr. Stephanie Wedryk possesses a strong track record of creating, developing, and commercializing products. Her expertise in agronomy and data science has been instrumental in bringing robustly tested products to market, catering to growers’ unique needs. Dr. Wedryk’s illustrious career includes notable roles at WinField-United, Rx Green Technologies, and Pebble Labs. She holds a BA in Biology from The College of Wooster (OH) and earned her PhD in Horticulture and Crop Science from The Ohio State University.
Brittany Dawson – Marketing Communications Specialist
Joining HGS BioScience as a Marketing Communications Specialist, Brittany Dawson brings a diverse skill set, including a passion for graphic design and branding, contributing to HGS’s strategic marketing initiatives. Brittany is a native of southeast Missouri, where she resides with her three children.
Josh Griffin – Key Account Manager
Raised in a small farming community in east central Illinois, Josh Griffin’s love for agriculture led him to pursue a career in the industry. He has held various roles in ag retail and marketing, honing his creativity and expertise. Josh’s journey includes significant contributions to companies including Crop Production Services, WinField United, and Verdesian Life Sciences. Josh and his wife, Ciara, live with their three children near Greenville, SC.
Hugh Beckham – Key Account Manager
Hugh’s agricultural journey began on a family farm in the central Mississippi Delta, fostering his passion for row crops and the agricultural industry. With more than 33 years of experience, he has held influential positions with SF Services, Monsanto/Bayer, DuPont/Pioneer, Horizon Ag, LLC, and Koch Agronomic Services. Hugh is married to Elizabeth and resides in Nesbit, Mississippi, with their three daughters.
Mark Douglas – Southeast Territory Sales Lead
With more than 35 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Mark Douglas brings a proven track record in ag retail, entrepreneurship, ag wholesale, and the specialty nutritional market. Most recently, Mark was a regional manager for the Liquid Fertilizer company. His passion for agriculture and deep understanding of the industry make him an invaluable asset to the company’s mission of revolutionizing agriculture through cutting-edge solutions and sustainable practices.
Tom Ballinger – Western Corn Belt Territory Sales Lead
Tom has a strong background in soil science and nearly four decades of experience in the agricultural supply industry. His roles have spanned global chemical manufacturing, regional distribution, and crop nutritional product manufacturers. At HGS BioScience, Tom is excited to be part of shaping the future of soil health and aiding American farmers in improving the quality of the legacy they leave for generations to come. He resides in Wisconsin with his wife of 38 years, Mary.
Dusty Parker – Prairie Gateway Territory Sales Lead
Dusty began his ag career in 2003 and has since gained extensive experience in retail sales and management at Helena, cotton farming at Americot, and territory sales and account management at Adama US. Now, as part of HGS BioScience, Dusty aims to establish partnerships and promote soil sustainability, further contributing to the industry’s growth. He resides in Lubbock, TX, with his wife, Cybil, and their two children, Pace and Palyn.
Vaughn Goodman – Pacific Northwest Territory Sales Lead
Vaughn brings 30 years of experience in the ag industry and a vast knowledge of the fertilizer industry. He is assuming the role of territory sales lead for the Pacific Northwest and resides with his family in Coeur d’Alene, ID.
